I am a registered architect, PhD in Urban Design and soundscape researcher, currently working on my project "Beyond the Noise: Open Source Soundscapes" which investigates the concept of quietness and how it impacts on placemaking in cities, by applying the citizen science paradigm, the soundscape approach and open source technology.
