Rosa Danenberg
KTH The Centre for the Future of Places PhD Fellow
Stockholm, Sweden
Rosa's PhD research project at the Centre for the Future of Places focuses on Main Streets. In a deeply, physically as well as socially, disconnected city such as Stockholm, the fundamental question arises as to how Main Streets function as an everyday public space? Further questions address the importance of Main Streets for small (ethnic) businesses and the need for planning and design for diversity. Rosa is involved the placemaking project at the KTH campus driven by students from the Master's Programme Urbanism Studies.
