City Planner / Architect and recent graduate from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. Exploring the urban design profession in Europe at the moment and interested in meeting other professionals and researchers in the field. As a national of both Poland and Egypt I spent much time comparing and contrasting the urban challenges of the European context as well as that of Egypt. Later, studying at MIT I was exposed to the challenges faced by cities in the United States. Differences in climate, varying socio-political contexts and cultural demands and needs across the three continents exposed me to the richness of solutions needed to those contexts, and a greater interest in participating in the development of the tools and solutions needed.
