Kirk Vartan is a native New Yorker, NBC technologist, former hi-tech professional, community activist, and founder of two pizza shops in San Jose/Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
Kirk is a strong advocate of smart urban developments, transportation solutions, and is currently helping influence the design of an urban agrihood in Santa Clara, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
On July 1, 2017, Kirk and his wife Marguerite turned their two pizza shops into the first brick-and-mortar worker-owned cooperative in Silicon Valley. He looks forward to advocating for this kind of business model to become another option here in the South Bay.
