THINK.urban Founder & Director
Philadelphia, PA, USA
I am an urban anthropologist specializing in the research and analysis of human behavior in public space. My consultancy is THINK.urban, a research firm based in Philadelphia working to create better cities through the lens of anthropology, and I work full time as the project manager at the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation at Drexel University. Most recently, I have worked with organizations including Copenhagenize, Project for Public Spaces, and City ID to bring humanist philosophy into city planning and design. In my free time, I am also the co-host and producer of the Third Wave Urbanism podcast, discussing current affairs and issues in urbanism with an emphasis on diversity from a female perspective. I'm the co-founder of The Women Led Cities Initiative, a project supported by the Knight Foundation, aimed towards bringing together women working in urbanism to create a strategy toward a feminist city for all.
